Coalescent Mobile Robotics, a Danish-based pioneer of in-store autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for the retail industry, is delighted to announce the formalization of its value-added reseller agreement with StrongPoint, a leading provider of technology solutions for the grocery retail industry. The partnership will enable Coalescent Mobile Robotics to leverage StrongPoint’s extensive network and expertise in Europe to bring its innovative AMRs to more grocery retailers across the continent.
Coalescent Mobile Robotics’ AMRs are designed to work seamlessly in-store amongst customers and staff. They can be attached to trolleys commonly used in retail and move them autonomously from and to pre-designated locations. Coalescent Mobile Robotics’ AMRs have been successfully tested and deployed in real world conditions alongside shoppers in-store, demonstrating reliability, safety, and efficiency.
The partnership with StrongPoint will also enhance Coalescent Mobile Robotics’ AMRs with StrongPoint’s Order Picking solution, a state-of-the-art technology that optimizes the picking process for grocery e-commerce players. By combining the two solutions, grocery retailers can achieve significant efficiency savings in their operations, as well as free up labour to focus on customer service.
“Through this partnership we are further boosting our already world-class efficiency to new heights and providing 21st century solutions creating the stores of the future, today,” said Jacob Tveraabak, CEO of StrongPoint.
This partnership comes shortly after Coalescent Mobile Robotics secured a seed funding round from leading European investors. The funding will help Coalescent accelerate its product development, commercialization, and expansion into European market.
“As a retail technology company focussed both in-store and on e-commerce fulfilment, StrongPoint has a unique depth and breadth of understanding in both automation and retail. We have been working together over the last 18 months and we are proud to take our collaboration and partnership to the next level. Together we can help European retailers drive essential efficiency savings in their operations freeing up labour to focus on customer service,” said Clionadh Martin, CEO and Founder of Coalescent Mobile Robotics.
Coalescent Mobile Robotics’ AMRs can also be used for a variety of other tasks in-store, such as stock replenishment, rubbish disposal, and mobile store displays. Coalescent is committed to developing cutting-edge robotic solutions that can transform the retail industry and create better shopping experiences for customers and staff alike.
